When can I RSVP?

You may RSVP on this website now! Please RSVP before July 1st. Thanks for being patient with us!

How would the couple like to be addressed?

We use the terms partner and spouse. We don't use terms for ourselves like wife, bride, groom, or husband, or girls, or girlfriends. We are good with people using she and her pronouns to refer to us individually. When referring to the two of us together as a couple, we keep it genderless. “You two,” “you two meatballs,” “congratulations to the newlyweds” or “spouses” or the old-school gay classic: “partners.” That's just us, baby, keeping it comfortable for ourselves. Thank you for celebrating us as partners and spouses too!

Do you have a gift registry?

No gifts are necessary — your presence is the best gift, and we’re so grateful! If you’d like to contribute, we’re saving for our home and would warmly appreciate a gift to our home fund as we work toward making a space to cook, host, and spend time with loved ones. Thank you. See our registry tab on this website for more info.

Can I bring a plus-one or kids?

We’re keeping our celebration small and intimate, so plus-ones and kids are by named invitation only for the July 18, 2026 ceremony and reception. If you were invited with a guest, their name will be listed on your invitation and RSVP—otherwise we hope you’ll understand and join us solo where you'll be surrounded by folks you know.

Where are you getting married?

In a beautiful backyard in West Olympia! The wooded backyard has a large grassy field, lots of tall trees, and a barnyard. It will be decked out with an event tent, formal seating, and comfy outdoor seating nooks throughout.

Where can I park?

There will be someone directing parking on the day of the wedding. We will have everyone park on one side of the road to keep traffic flowing easily to the rest of the neighborhood. There will be some parking closest to the entrance reserved for some of the vendors and those guests with more limited mobility. There will be plenty of parking but carpooling is definitely encouraged.

Where are the restrooms?

We will have a fancy luxury restroom trailer right at the gate to the venue. It includes two different gender-neutral restrooms, air conditioning, music, bug spray, lotion, and other toiletries. It will be comfortable. Steps and hand rails make it more accessible for people with limited mobility but it will not have a wheelchair ramp.

What can I expect on the day of the wedding?

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm followed by some time to mingle, get drinks, and then sit down for dinner, dessert, toasts, etc. From 4:30 to 6:00pm we will have a host of things to do. You can sit and chill or chat with an old (or new) friend. You can join in for dancing, badminton, croquet, karaoke, or yard games. You can take a stroll through the woods. You can roast s'mores. We'll also have some quiet and shaded spaces to chill out and take a sun-break in the barn. At 6:00pm, we will eat! We have a shawarma bar and lots of fresh salads and sides. Unlike a traditional venue we don't have a set time we have to leave by, so join us for all of the fun for as long or as short as you feel like!

What's on the menu for your wedding day?

We’re thrilled to have Nineveh, one of our favorite local restaurants, catering the reception. There will be a traditional shawarma bar with lamb and beef, grilled marinated chicken, and falafel, plus sides like fattoush salad, hummus, grilled and fresh vegetables, and tabbouleh. Our caterer can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and common allergies—please note any restrictions in your RSVP. Instead of cake we’ll have wedding pie from 8 Arms Bakery, including their strawberry‑rhubarb and several other flavors, with gluten‑free and dairy‑free options available.

I have dietary restrictions. Will I be able to eat and drink at your wedding?

Yes — please tell us about any dietary restrictions or allergies in your RSVP notes, and we’ll make sure there are safe options for you. If you have a less common restriction or a severe allergy, include specifics in your RSVP so we can confirm details with the caterer.

Can I bring my dog?

No, we love your dog but for safety and making sure no one steps in anything, it's a no pets zone.
